Frequently Asked Questions

The Palestinians will never accept a deal like the JPA and make peace.

Yes they will.  Anyone who is realistic can see immediately that the JPA delivers by far the best outcome for Palestine that can be imagined.  Certainly better than anything that they can get from current negotiations or continuing with resistance/terrorism.

The leaders of the resistence/terrorist groups will carry on killing.

It is possible that some of the leaders are still unrealistic about what will come from continuing violence.  But the great mass of the Palestinian people want peace, and many of them have already said they will accept a "two-state solution" that is far less generous in its terms than the JPA.  We believe at least 99% of the Palestinian people will support this agreement, and their leaders who have other ideas will be rapidly persuaded by their people. the two states

The Palestinians don't want charity.  Why should we accept the JPA?

This is not charity for Palestinians.  It is justice.  No less than you deserve.

The leaders of Hamas are committed to Israel's destruction.
How are they ever going to change?

By adopting non-violence, along with the other principles of the treaty, which include the principle of democracy.  That means you can hold any political opinion you like, including opinions about the future development of the two states and their relationship.  You can adopt, sign and implement the Just Peace Agreement 100% while believing that the two states should become one state eventually (or no state).  You can publicly declare your aims and pursue them exclusively by non-violent and democratic means. non-violence

But the JPA says that everybody has to recognize Israel!

The JPA recognises the states of Palestine and Israel equally and unequivocally.  Whether you interpret that as legal recognition or de facto recognition is mere words.  By adopting, acceding to and implementing the JPA, all parties commit themselves to acting in ways that are 100% consistent with the principles and articles of the treaty.  That certainly means you have to treat Israel and its citizens as legitimate, equal and at peace with you.  The conflict is finished.  But the JPA does not constrain your political opinions or policies in any other way. democracy

The Palestinians never unite, especially when it might do some good.

There has never been an opportunity like the JPA worth uniting on.  Now there is.  Unite on the basis of this agreement, and see Palestine established free, equal, and at peace with Israel and with the world.
